Herstory - A Valentine's Gift to All The Ladies

To go on your own beautiful magical journey of self-discovery as a woman is the ultimate gift to yourself. To discover your own sensuality, your passions, your hidden depths, and even to know your own demons. So much of our society's myths focus on the story of the hero...but ladies, let us tread our own magical patth, the one that takes us to a place where we know we are powerful and magnificent and of great value. Let us feel nourished firstly by our own selves, and then those we choose to have around us. Discover the elements that take you back to feeling like a wild woman on an adventure of a lifetime. Is it the fire, the moon? Is it wandering in the darkness of the night? Over the last couple of years I've spent a lot of time with some pretty powerful female healers, and the most important thing I've learned from them is to value myself, to let my intuition be my guide. The more I love myself, the more I feel I have to give. The magical journeys take us to places where we discover our true strengths and our true magic. I love places which are sensual retreats for the feminine.
Last night I was on a yoga retreat out in Topanga Canyon, tucked away in the hills in a warm sensual environment, the candles flickered and I practiced yoga blindfolded. All I could hear was the voice of my teacher. All I could smell was the incense burning. It was extraordinary to move into these beautiful yogic positions without being able to see what I was doing. All I could feel was my own energy, and it was simply wonderful. I could feel that I am totally woman, as I put my hands on my hips I thought How Wonderful! I felt like it was extraordinary, like giving myself a big hug, I could feel my own gentle energy as I moved, and I thought "How wonderful to be hugged by me!"
There are so many journeys of self discovery that you can take....choose one that your intuition guide you towards and enjoy it!
...and the rest is HERstory!
