The Bronx Tale - On Broadway for just Four More Nights

One of my all time favorite movies is "THe BronX Tale'' Starring Chazz Palmintari directed by Robert Deniro. For those of you who have seen it, Chazz Palmintari actually wrote it. It is the True story of his growing up in the bronx and his relationship with a powerful mentor figure Sonny a mafia boss. It is an amazing story, profound full of wize messages and incredible insights into life. I went to see it before Christmas and was just blown away by Chazz Palmintari's Genius it is a one man show and he plays all the characters, as he did back before it was a movie. That is the way Deniro saw it and agreed to turn it into "Bronx Tale'' the movie.
I Love the story also behind the making of the movie...the story go's many studios wanted to buy the rights to the movie however they would not allow Chazz to write the script and play Sonny. Chazz bravely hung out for his destiny and sure enough Deniro showed up and did the right thing....the rest is history.
The Show is simply magical, poetry in motion...it will blow your mind to see Chazz playing himself as a young boy and then his father and then Sonny in the same 60 seconds. A Show like this happens once in a blue moon so if you are in New York go see it before it ends on the 24th of Febuary...I promise you, it will move you and make you appreciate life a little more.......
