Music, Sex and Poetry

I am a total romantic , as many artists are ,and a total sucker for a love story. Making love and music is what it s all about, what else is there ? Well ...yeh saving the planet and becoming a rock star but at the foundation its just about making love and making music . How does it all work ? Well to write great music you ve got to have a great muse. Back in the day films like Almost Famous documents the relationship between the muse and the band and the way in which the muses fundamentally inspired the songs . And there is an art to being a great muse just like there s a craft to writing a great song . Love hides in extraordinary places, of course you never know who is going to feed the fire , I even used to have a line which was supposed to be a joke ,Many muses make light work, ! (LOL !)

Last night one of my neighbors came over, he is a musician and he started serenading me it was very seductive and I thought , Wow the age old tradition of .. Making love and making music . Did I go for it ???? I was half a second away from putting on those rose tinted glasses [but I ve got flu right now] . In Europe courting takes on a different shape , its a sort of sensually intellectual process, here in America , courting is a way more procreative business, its all about what we’re going to do together, be together, create together it feels like a life style thing as opposed to an esoteric ramble. I can fall in love so easily, its just something that's so enjoyable, I can easily find something to love about someone . Especially as I start strumming those guitar strings and pouring out my heart And my next record is all about that. I guess I was making a lot of love and music when I was writing it .
I find I’m inclined to test men as to there intentions, a Queen has to make sure the Knight is going to be noble ! If I know I m on firm ground I can be easy going , but if I feel like I m on shaky ground ie; with a cheater or a man not telling me the truth , I m inclined to get a bit reactive . I mean who needs trouble in paradise ? To just get on and make love and music is really what it s all about . I am very committed to my man , and they to me , I follow them across the world and they follow me across the world. I mean, there s no story if there isn t great passion somewhere in the mix and that all adds up to: a great song .
