Quite a night last night...I went to the Premier of ''This Is It'', Michael Jackson documentary...It was big flashy deal to start with, red carpet..and big stars...but I have to say once the Film started it was all about Michael, a man who was just an inspired performer, watching him rehearse was a treat...( especially as I am beginning rehearsing right now !!! The passion this man had too dance and move and sing....TALENT !!! to see how he took the whole crew on a journey to create the best show ever...I believe it would have been a great show !!!
Below all the hype there was a man who loved his art...and had a depthy palette of emotions to pull from to come up with brilliance...a true alchemist
The Premier party was stunning !!! ... I think his spirit was there..because was just an amazing vibe, so much love in that room...so much good feeling and as the evening went on and all his video's were projected on a huge screen...we all celebrated his life...Yeh we all danced...like crazy and there just was an incredible soulfulness...and warmth and a feeling of the MAN, who wanted to make this world a better place !!! genius, passion, beauty...a real artist.
A huge circle formed on the dance floor and all of sudden Micheal's dancers started back flipping and spinning...it was wonderful, how much love and celebration there was at the party last night. I feel blessed to have been their and seen it all unfold, Nice to chat with Kenny Ortega momentarily, who directed His Show.... a great Man, He is gonna get my new C.D. today...Ah Michael !!! Your spirit lives on with the music and in the hearts of the people...let's put more Love and Joy in the world..... go see the Movie, really worth it !!!

It's a big week in Los Angeles for musical events: last night was U2, tomorrow night I'm going to the premire of the Michael Jackson Movie, "This is It", it will be fascinating to see what Michael was doing during the final months of his life, and to see his entire entourage for this event. I guess it will be quite emotional, but I'm sure it will give me a greater appeciation of the legacy that he's left.
There is a lot of inspiration floating around on the L.A. airways. I got up early today to do some hot and sweaty yoga at Rising Lotus - I've been there every day for the past five days - it's great! A room full of fit, L.A. bodies, sweating buckets in this intense flow class.
Yesterday I rehearesed with Yogi.
Also, some friends of mine are getting married at my house later this week, so it is a week full of love and music here in Los Angeles!
I will write you some more later and let you know how it all plays out.

Sitting on the beach in Malibu on Sunday afternoon; practicing my guitar, I'm getting ready to be playing live again.....I was joined by a whole array of different folk: a actress from Mumbai India, a Russian family, and a old Californian hippie. Everyone seemed happy to hear this British blonde, strumming her guitar and singing along to the rythms of the waves. Fun to be out of the studio...I am readjusting to life back on planet earth...afer the mission....8 months inside my head !!! Myself and our new intern have been out filming clips for my new YouTube series I am working on. Last week we went down to the bottom of Laurel Canyon and I sat outside the old house of Jim Morrison and sang. People came out to talk to us and I nearly caused a little traffic jam, sitting there in my leather jacket and lace mini dress...So it's fun to be out and about...singing and filming. Wonder guitarist Yogi and I will start rehersing my acoustic show this week. We will be going acoustic, with all the new material for a few performances, before we begin rocking with a full band...and this is a real up-beat rocking record...so its going to be just fabulous to play LIVE. Yogi just came off the road from performing lead guitar with Chris Cornel and Fuel. He is currently my band Musical director, and we are both really excited to perform all the new material because the album just sounds so damn good...So once more into the brink my friend !!!
It's all go right now, every day really I'm just trying to stay centred and have a bit of a sense of humour...
Had a great Italian dinner party last night at my house - Thanks to my friend Valentina Steadler and her guy, Francesco Quinn...always happy in the company of Italian people...the food, the music, and the company were excellent.
Every day we are getting closer to our goal of releasing my new record and everything that goes into that...and - believe me - it's a lot of work...from rehersals, to printing albums...to hiring a team to carry out the release...to filming interviews...to photo shoots, to chatting up dj's on my morning walk, to talking to video directors in Paris...we are getting ready....hopefully it will all come together in time...hope you are all well

The world-wide release of Zoe's new album will be spring 2010, but in the mean time we are going to be releasing a lot of special stuff including songs, new photo's ,a new video blog from Zoe and also installments of Zoe's Web-cast-The Zoe Show. I guess new web-site was suppose to be up wednesday....I guess web designer got sick or something, but Hey Im told we will rocking on Sunday. Think singles will be up next week, sorry for delay...My Record label are just getting release plan together....so there is a lot going on around here. Me... Im doing loads of Yoga and getting ready to start rehersal on a whole new live show. Should be rocking with all these hot new songs to choose from...Zoe
