Music, Sex and Poetry

We are having a heat wave in L.A...you cant get away from it, you gotta move slow....and last night from my sports club I could see all the forest's burning.....its quite a long way away, but its a bit scary, a bit intense...I ran this morning the smoke on air is pretty bad and then felt faint and had to sleep for a couple of hours.....and basically hide out in the one room i have air conditioning in...for an English rose, this kinda heat is not my favourite thing to endure. So I'm gonna just except it and move real slow.....but its very sad to hear about the death of two fire fighters. This is the tough end of the beautiful whether we usually live with here...I guess I'm gonna try stay cool and relax...and pray they get the fires under control.. Zoe

I had the insightful yet outrageous conversation outside the earth cafe...last night, with two guys we really got into discussing what men and woman really want....i love sort of interviewing people about there feelings on this subject...people love to tell me how they feel about love, and sex and the scene..."I want a woman who's dressed in a short skirt like you are after 5 years, i don't want that thing to go away''...one man said ''its all about thinking sexy another said''.....its all about vibrations...''its all about ferramones''...what is it about me that makes people talk so honestly...I don't know, but I love it...I think I definitely need to get it on camera and out to you cause...its so much fun hearing everybodys feelings about love and sex...and finding the common thread...I guess when my ferramones are raging...I got plenty of willing guests, ready to spill the beans and just tell me the way they feel about, love, sex, the one night stand, soul mates...and just about what evers on there mind...Shall we turn up the volume a bit and start discussing it all...what do you think !!! Having said good-bye to my giant, but lovable house guest's...two of Molesey Boat Clubs finest Rowers...This week I've been picking up the pace again. Monday was busy, vocal coach...Eric Vetro gave me a wonderfully inspired, but tough talk about my success and achieving it now !!!...No EXCUSES allowed...So having Two athletes in my house that are gonna try and train to go to the Olympics...was inspiring, because I got to think up my own version of the Olympics...Yeh I stood up on top of the Hollywood hills last night, with all the bright orange lights blazing last night...Its Huge this Place ...and made a wish list, well I want the world to sing my songs, I want to show up some place like the Paris and hear a young person singing a song, that sounds familiar and realize its mine !!! Then I want to sing my songs too the world...Always had an ambition to be the Next Queen of Rock !!! Ever since Ian Aspery lead singer of the Cult heard me sing out in the Mojave desert and said..."You'll be the next Queen of Rock" It would be nice to be so ON...So on top of my game...I could claim the title...He..He..Olympics...There some people I want to work with...SO I put that out there...I want to be so Fit and in my power, I can create some really world class images...I want to be photographed by the best...I like the medium of photography, it says so much about being alive...you know the kinda of ones you guys go...Oh she's so hot !!! She's cool too...Damn the way I used to look at singers I was into...I might like To play a couple of parts in movies...Something raw, something worth getting my teeth into...Something where you get to work with a really inspired director...I trained for 3 years as an actress in London...So it would fun to use those skills sometime...and Of Course I have a couple of T.v...shows I'm developing with all this in mind...My days starts in the gym at 8...by 930....I need to vocally be warming up...and singing through the new songs I will soon be performing....The rest of the day is taken up with Album release stuff...everything from listening to mixes, to checking images....WOOW This Is MY Life MY OLYMPICS, What Are Yours ?

So I'm happy to say my new c.d is sounding awesome...and with mixers like Mike Shiply...Wally Gagal and I think my mate Jim Scott will be mixing a couple of tracks early september...its an album with some fine talent attached....in the process of getting new web site up...and prep for ZOE show which we are in pre production for right now...So things are all go around here...keep you posted...cant wait for you all to hear
the tracks...you'll be surprised how far I've come !!! everyone is digging !!!

There is something really inspiring about brillience, I remember watching Andy Murrey in the summer at Wimbledon...i was with him every step of the way, because i understand what its like to train and train for one shot...they say a star is 10 years in the making...to certain extent atheletes are not that much different to performers...we use our bodies and minds to excel....I have too young men from the U.K staying with me right now, they are age 20 and 23 in the fall they will start the task of training to try and get on the G.B. Rowing team to go to the Olympics...one of them just won at Henley in an 8 man boat, for Molesey Boatclub...my parents local boatclub...which since I've been away has become a world class boat club...When we met at a pub back in july, we had an inspired conversation about, the importance of training with the best coaches in the world...i said i felt thats what America had offered me the opportunity to really be mentored by the best....as America really excels in the entertainment feild. When I met these young men I asked them if they were going to be the best they could be.....and they said they'd been working really hard, to acheive there dreams...So I said O.K...you can come stay....at my place in the hills... They are like 6.6 tall its like having wonderful giants in the house... One of my mentors who really inspired me had this saying...."there is nothing sader than wasted talent" and another said ''Live your Bliss'' So with that in mind lets all support each other to experience our talents ...everyone has a talent, you just got too discover it !!! and then surround yourself with people who believe in it...and then pass it on when you can...Love Zoe

So just to say to anyone who was involved in a brillient re-shoot of my album cover yesturday...a Massive thank you from the bottom of my heart. Big Thank You too Robert Ferrone..You Rock Man !!! I'll get sexy for you in frount of that camera...anyday of the week !!! above and beyond the call of duty !!! It Takes a Village..and It was so wonderful to photographed up in the Canyon, with a team of brillient creative folk around me...I thought the team was amazing, everyone put in so much effort....and we had to Improvise a bit.... but I felt like there was such a great team feeling and Robert is such a world class photographer, with me in good health this time, and fresh from being adored in europe....every shot was great from the first too the last. It was a really fun day, with fabulous results...I actually new the moment I met Robert Ferrone, he and i had creative magic...so it was so wonderful to see it on camera yesturday..So thanks too Fabian for hair and make up, to Jeremy the rock n roll blower...for blowing me, Tracey Kate for set decoration and some style...Victoria for pulling together the whole thing...My favourite Jay Gerrard..and her assistant Kim for that killer outfit...Antonio..for the email that advised test shoot...and The Big one for Robert Ferrone, Your a Great Mate and an Amazing Photographer !!! I thought we were an excellent team....Love Zoe

My mind is a constant wirl of inspiration, things I Must do... so I thought to just clear some space...I'd make a list : Add Your Own !!!


1. Go film a video on the steps of the Sacre Cour, in Paris...ah the view !!!

2. Fall in love with a man with a pure heart...who loves me

3. Have a photo taken, that really captures the place i create from...a place of magic and passion....or just wild rebellion and humour !!!


4. decide what to title to give my new album ?


5. Organize a play-back party...and invite some friend's


6. Go to the gym, every day, do vocal warm up every day..!!!! How many times can I remind myself


7. love and spend more time withe people I care for... doing simple things


8. call my mother, back she must have called like five times today..


9. Meditate and go back to yoga, I usually practise 3 times a week..


10. Live like a beautiful yacht sailing on the high sea's...with the wind in my sails...always feeling free inside..


ah thats better...what are your's ?

So after my last photo shoot, I learnt one big lesson !!! everything has too be test shot....and i mean everything, hair make up, wardrobe....So I went of and bought myself a camera about a week ago to prepare for my next shoot. Which will be with fashion photographer Robert Ferrone...I have spent the last 5 days preping for my photo shoot, actually it has been a really creative and inspiring experience....being photgraphed in my natural enviroment in anything I choose to put on, or more to the point, take off !!! my sister and my friend tracey-kate have had the long task of spending hours trying stuff out, serious girl dress up time...Our Last shoot was a big glossy studio shoot. I was sick on the day... This shoot we are taking a different approach, a natural setting, and a more intimate shoot....having said that it will be of course rock n roll...deffinatly bust out the Tom Ford sunglasses and a pair of thigh high boots at some point !!! Yeh love the leggy rock Diva look these days !!! So sometime down the line you will get to see photo's of me in the enviroment I create in....hidden away in my sanctuary, somewhere in Laurel Canyon, Big Thanks to all at John Freda Salon....Kate, Patrick and Rock n roll Blower Jeremy...and to Fabian for make up...To Jay Gerrard @ Dress for Peace and Kim for a bit of help with styling...Big thanks to Robert Ferrone,...Looking forward to an excellent shoot. Well after enjoying the fruits and laid back luxury of sometime off in Europe....I have been swamped since an hour after my arrival back in the U.S.A. When my first meeting took place about the mix of my new C.D. I Have been spoilt as I've had Mike Shipley mixing on my record for the last couple of weeks, you will have heard Mikes fabulous mixing on songs like Jaded by Aerosmith and Breathless with faith hill...yes Mike is one of the Big Guys and I heard a couple of his mixes today...and I was like WooW did I really sing that...!!! That sounds huge....I'm incredibly excited about this C.D guys, I really believe in it. I think the songwriting and production is world class. I think fairly shortly you guys are gonna be hearing the first couple of songs. I do not have a date for the release yet...As we will be looking for world wide distribution on this C.D...But i will keep you posted. Today I went to see Wally Gagal and Xandy Barry my producers in there brand new studio....very exciting they have taken over a studio that Jimi Hendrix and the Doors recorded in and renovated it.....You go guys. Wally is mixing the super cool "Woman Rock'' tracks they produced for me. They are really such a fabulous production team, Cool hip...they love British music, and they seem to get me !!! Your Gonna freak out when you here the songs we created together. I will have a new web sight up very shortly...its hot very impactual and hopefully we will be streaming video blogs every week, clips from the Zoe Show....which we will soon start shooting....
Well I'm kinda tired and I got a busy day tomorrow...test shooting for an intimate little photo shoot I'm gonna do at my house next week with Robert Ferrone, I'm of to spend sometime with my vocal coach Eric Vetro...Eric has done an amazing job building my voice up to sing this new Record, I adore him, he works with everyone from Bett Midler to Giles Marini{ the Hot naked french dude in "Sex and the city'' the movie} well I hope Giles in the class after mine, because there's gotta be some perks after all this work !!!...well lots of love and french Kisses sweet dream's ZOE
